This Scholarship is specially allocated for Women and their families affected by Ovarian Cancer. Applicants who have faced Ovarian Cancer at any point in their lives are eligible to apply as well as those who have a parent, sibling, immediate family member or close friend that has had ovarian cancer.

The Select Justice 'Make a Difference Scholarship' will be awarding $6000 divided into 3 scholarships to selected individuals.
Ovarian Cancer Causes and Concerns
We understand that Ovarian Cancer can have a number of causes and there will be some women diagnosed with the cause never being fully known.
However, in our work with injured communities, we are aware of the research showing that some women who use talcum powder frequently can have an increased risk of ovarian cancer.
