We want to thank everyone for participating in our SelectLove Random Acts of Kindness Campaign.  We heard wonderful stories about Teachers, Nurses and Essential Workers going above and beyond what is asked of them.

It was beautiful and inspiring to read all of the nominations and we want to share with you the nominations and stories of our two winners.

Amy Lammers

Amy was nominated by Jeffery Lammers and this was his nomination post:

“Amy has been an ICU nurse for over 25 years and her commitment to helping those in need has never wavered, especially during these most unprecedented times. During the peak of the pandemic her facility was exclusively only treating those people infected with COVID-19, she was dedicated to ensuring that every individual had the very best chance to recover. Amy is married with two teenage boys, although she always puts them first, she also sees that her role in defeating this virus is crucial to the safety of her family, friends and everyone in the world.”

Amy was very happy to be chosen as a winner and shared this message with us:

“I am honored to hear that I was chosen as the winner. This has by far been the most difficult time I have had in my nursing career. Kind and thoughtful gestures like this really help me get through these trying times.”

Ryan Gamber

Ryan was nominated by his wife Christy. Here is her nomination post:

“I nominated my husband Ryan because since the pandemic started he always puts everyone else's needs before his own. He's an essential worker (corrections officer) that has been working 6 days a week since the start of the pandemic.  We love and appreciate him so much!

He’s 45. He’s been a corrections officer for over 20 years. He works 3rd shift in a housing unit. He has plans to retire in 2025. In the small amount of spare time he has he spends it helping me foster and rescue homeless dogs for our local shelter and numerous animal rescues in the tri state area. He never hesitates to drive to another state or city when there's an animal in need. He never misses our children's sports games even if that means he only gets 2 or 3 hours of sleep."

Christy shared this message with us after learning that her husband had been chosen as a winner:

“Working with Select Justice has been absolutely amazing. We were so grateful when my husband was chosen as one of their lucky winners from their extremely generous giveaway.”
